Why do you need resetting your Internet Explorer settings?
Internet Explorer is a Windows browser that is installed by default in every version of Windows. It is the 3-rd most popular browser but still, it is the primary target for adware and hijackers developers. Additional functionality can be added to Internet Explorer by adding special Browser Helper Object (BHO) and many cybercriminals use this to install the malicious add-on to generate ads or control search and homepage settings. Reset IE settings manually
1) To reset Internet Explorer settings, open the browser and click on gear/asterisk icon in the top-right corner of the window. This will open drop-down menu. In this drop-down menu choose Internet options.
2) In opened windows click Advanced tab.
3) While in Advanced tab find Reset… button on the bottom. Click on it.
4) In opened window put a tick near check box Delete personal settings and click Reset.
