How ExpandedDivision infects Mac computers

ExpandedDivision typically gains access to Mac systems through deceptive practices. Users may unknowingly install ExpandedDivision when downloading and installing free software from the internet, as it is often bundled with other applications. These bundles do not always clearly disclose the inclusion of additional software like ExpandedDivision, leading to unintentional installation. Another common method of infection is through visiting infected websites or clicking on malicious ads that download the adware directly onto the system. Once installed, ExpandedDivision may inject a browser extension or program to control the browser’s behavior, including changing the homepage and redirecting search queries to generate ad revenue.
